- Get tested with Japan approved either (NAAT) NEAR or RT-PCR technology.
- Receive your COVID results report in Japanese format via E-Mail or in person.
- Vitality completes the Japan Certificate of Testing for COVID-19 and sends it via E-Mail or given in person.

Which COVID-19 Tests are Allowed for Travel to Japan?
- Rapid nicking enzyme amplification reaction (NEAR) Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) technology – ID Now by Abbott. Results < 1 hour.
- RAPID Automated RT-PCR (NAAT). Results < 2 hours.
- RT-PCR (NAAT). Results < 12 hours.
On March, 09, 2022, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan authorized non invasive collection method “Nasal Swab”.
* Nasal, Nasopharyngeal swabs and Saliva are the only collection methods accepted by Japan.
We selected this particular technology for Japan Pre-Travel testing due to its high accuracy and its acceptance by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA).
